EuroVisaCalculator is a client-side web application. Your trip dates, traveler names, and travel history are stored in your browser only, both in your URL and in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device to our servers. In fact, we aren't maintaining any servers. We have no knowledge of where you've traveled, when, or for how long. That information exists only in your browser.
We collect anonymous usage events to understand how the tool is used and to improve it. These events include actions like "trip added" or "link copied", along with your approximate screen size, browser type, and page referrer. We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any actual travel dates.
Your trip data is saved in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser data, or by using the "Clear All" option in the app. You can also share your data with others via the shareable URL. Only people you share that URL with can see your trips. If you share your URL with others, anyone who has that link can view the trip data encoded in it. Only share your URL with people you intend to give access to your travel history.
Because all calculation logic runs in your browser, the calculator continues to work without an internet connection once the page has been loaded.
We collect anonymous usage events using a lightweight custom webhook. Events are written to a private spreadsheet via Google Apps Script, a Google service, and are not shared with anyone. No third-party analytics SDK is embedded in the page. The data collected includes actions like "trip added" or "link copied", your approximate screen size, browser type, and page referrer. No travel dates, traveler names, or personally identifiable information is ever collected.
Anonymous usage events are retained in our private spreadsheet indefinitely for product analysis. Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to delete on request.
EuroVisaCalculator is an informational tool only. Results should not be relied upon as legal advice or as a guarantee of entry into the Schengen Area. Always verify your travel dates against official records, including your passport stamps. We recommend leaving a buffer of at least 2 days below your maximum allowance to account for unexpected travel disruptions. Border decisions are made at the discretion of individual member state authorities.
